FBX to USDZ converter
Drop an FBX file and get a USDZ back in seconds. FBX is proprietary, rig- and animation-friendly, used mostly for Maya, 3ds Max, Unity and Unreal pipelines. USDZ is Apple's AR package, the usual choice for iPhone and iPad AR Quick Look and Apple Vision Pro. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your file never leaves your device.

How to use the fbx to usdz converter
- 1Choose your FBX fileDrag it onto the panel or click to browse. It's read locally and never uploaded.

- 3Download the USDZExport a USDZ with one click. Downloads are included with every plan.
What carries over
- Textures and materials from the FBX are re-packed into the USDZ.
- Units: FBX is usually centimetres and USDZ is metres in our export. Numbers are copied 1:1, so check the size in the target app.
- Open the USDZ on an iPhone or iPad to place the model in your room with AR Quick Look.
- FBX files that reference external texture images will convert without those textures, since the browser can only see the one file you choose.

Questions
- Is my FBX file uploaded?
- No. The FBX is parsed and the USDZ is written by JavaScript in your browser tab. The file never reaches our servers.
- Will the USDZ look the same as the FBX?
- The geometry is identical. USDZ keeps materials and textures too. See the notes above for this exact pair.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Files up to 150 MB open, but very large models depend on your device's memory. Desktop browsers handle big files best.
