DAE to GLB converter
Drop a DAE file and get a GLB back in seconds. DAE is XML-based exchange format, used mostly for SketchUp exports and older engines. GLB is one self-contained file, the usual choice for the web, Godot, three.js, Android AR and general sharing. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your file never leaves your device.

How to use the dae to glb converter
- 1Choose your DAE fileDrag it onto the panel or click to browse. It's read locally and never uploaded.
- 2Check the previewOrbit the model and check the triangle count, size and materials before converting.
- 3Download the GLBExport a GLB with one click. Downloads are included with every plan.
What carries over
- Textures and materials from the DAE are re-packed into the GLB.
- Units: DAE is declared in the file and GLB is metres by convention. Numbers are copied 1:1, so check the size in the target app.

Questions
- Is my DAE file uploaded?
- No. The DAE is parsed and the GLB is written by JavaScript in your browser tab. The file never reaches our servers.
- Will the GLB look the same as the DAE?
- The geometry is identical. GLB keeps materials and textures too. See the notes above for this exact pair.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Files up to 150 MB open, but very large models depend on your device's memory. Desktop browsers handle big files best.
