OBJ to GLB converter
Drop an OBJ file and get a GLB back in seconds. OBJ is plain text, read almost everywhere, used mostly for older 3D software and CAD-adjacent tools. GLB is one self-contained file, the usual choice for the web, Godot, three.js, Android AR and general sharing. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your file never leaves your device.

What carries over
- Units: OBJ is unitless and GLB is metres by convention. Numbers are copied 1:1, so check the size in the target app.

Questions
- Is my OBJ file uploaded?
- No. The OBJ is parsed and the GLB is written by JavaScript in your browser tab. The file never reaches our servers.
- Will the GLB look the same as the OBJ?
- The geometry is identical. GLB keeps materials and textures too. See the notes above for this exact pair.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Files up to 150 MB open, but very large models depend on your device's memory. Desktop browsers handle big files best.
