Image to GLB
This tool builds a textured relief: your image is wrapped over its own height field, so it looks like the picture but catches light like a sculpted panel. The GLB drops straight into three.js, Godot, Blender or a model-viewer tag.
How to use the image to glb
- 1Add a pictureDrop a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. A sample image is preloaded so you can see the result straight away.
- 2Tune depth and detailSlide depth for how far shapes rise, and detail for how fine the mesh is. The 3D preview updates live.
- 3Export GLB or OBJSTL comes out watertight and 100 mm wide, ready for your slicer.
Tips for better results
- Keep detail moderate for web use. Fewer triangles load faster.
- For a true 3D object from a photo, use the AI image-to-3D converter instead.
Using the GLB on the web and in engines
- Embed it with the model-viewer web component, or load it with three.js's GLTFLoader.
- Godot and Blender import GLB natively; Unity needs a glTF package such as glTFast.
- Keep detail at 120 or below for web pages to keep the file small and fast to load.
- The texture is your original image, so colours match exactly while the surface catches light like a sculpted panel.
