Polygon counter
Polygon budgets matter for games, AR and the web. Drop a model in to see its exact triangle and vertex counts, how many separate meshes and materials it has, and how many textures it carries.

How to use the polygon counter
- 1Open a modelDrop a GLB, glTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, FBX, 3MF, DAE or USDZ file. It stays on your device.

Tips for better results
- Compare against rough budgets: under 10k triangles for mobile props.
- Use the mesh simplifier if the count is too high.
Rough triangle budgets
- Mobile or standalone VR prop: under about 5k–10k triangles.
- Desktop or console prop: about 10k–50k.
- Hero character on desktop: often 50k–150k or more.
- Web viewer showing one product: up to roughly 100k is fine if the file stays small.
