Line art to SVG
Inked line art is one of the best sources for tracing: high contrast, few colours. This preset keeps fine line detail while ignoring paper grain, ready for colouring in Illustrator, Inkscape or Figma.
Preset: high detail, background removed.

Tips for better results
- Scan at 300 dpi or higher.
- Increase contrast before uploading if the paper is yellowed.
Line art for colouring and print
- Comic inkers: vectorised line art scales cleanly for print and lets colourists work underneath.
- Colouring-book pages need closed lines. Check that the shapes are fully enclosed before filling them.
- Brush strokes keep their tapering, but very fine hairlines may merge. Increase scan resolution if they do.
- Separate line art and colour flats on different layers in your editor.
