JPG to SVG
JPEG compression adds speckles that tracers turn into junk paths. This preset smooths the image first and merges similar colours, which gives cleaner shapes from photos of logos and printed graphics.
Preset: medium detail.

Tips for better results
- Use the highest-quality JPG you have.
- If the background is a solid colour, use the background-removal tool next.
Dealing with JPEG artefacts
- Blocky 8×8 compression artefacts around edges are the main cause of messy traces.
- Merging colours to a small palette ignores most artefacts.
- If the JPG came from a scan, increase contrast first so paper texture drops out.
- Re-saving a JPG never improves it. Use the original, largest version you have.
