Logo to SVG
Every brand needs its logo as a vector eventually: for a sign maker, a printer or a sharp favicon. This preset removes a flat background and traces the remaining shapes at high detail.
Preset: high detail, background removed.
How to use the logo to svg
- 1Add an imageDrop a picture. It's traced in your browser, so nothing leaves your device.
- 2Set the colour countThis preset starts at 6 colours and removes a plain background. Fewer colours mean cleaner, simpler paths.
- 3Download the SVGOpen it in Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma, Cricut Design Space or your laser software.
Tips for better results
- Start from the largest copy of the logo you have.
- Check small text in the result. Very small lettering may need redrawing.
Checking a traced logo
- Zoom to 400% and check curves. Tracers can flatten tight bends into corners.
- Make sure circles are closed and evenly round; redraw them with the ellipse tool if needed.
- Re-type wordmarks with the original font where possible. Traced text is approximate.
- Export a monochrome version too: printers, engravers and embroiderers often need one.
